
Audi has a very dominating demographic of customers, 70.22% are males having only 29.78% as female. Overall customer sales are mostly those in a 25–34-year range, holding 25.63% of sales and the second highest age demographic is the 45-54 age group (Similarweb, 2024).
Looking at the data from the previous month, Audi has a large web traffic of 82.62% however data shows that this is down 6.16% from the month prior, this could indicate that the month of November has a reduction of sales due to it being a financially challenging time of year for many customers. In the month of November there were 889.2k web visits which is 14.2% lower than the previous month (Similarweb, 2024). From those website views 36.77% came from desktop whereas 63.23% came from mobile web, indicating that a large amount of customer traffic is now done via a smartphone. From these visits 48.05% were organic search although, the social media traffic is also a high part to play in online customer traffic, 32.6% of views were from Facebook (Similarweb, 2024). Display ads also held a significant role regarding web views, 51.88% views came from the google display network.
After looking at this data Audi need to enhance their use of other media platforms such as Instagram as the 25.63% of sales are due to those in a 25-34 age range will be more incline to see those posts and ads as this media site is well known for this age group.
